I want peace
I found myself saying
I got down on my knees
And started myself praying

I want peace
So around the world I looked
I needed this release
So I read a bunch of books

I did a million downward dogs
worked hard on concentrating
fasting would not clear the fog
nor hours of meditating

I want peace
but sadly I resigned it
I want peace
In this world I could not find it

Until I looked with in myself
then the answer came with ease
i dropped the I and dropped the want
and what was left was peace
