You sleep next to my bed
curled up -
where is your nose?
where is your tail?

Closing my eyes
I feel your peaceful presence

Waking up at night -
I hear you softly breathing
sometimes a little lovely smack
your belly gargling to the melody of your dreams

You sleep in harmony with the night
